Are We Living in Prophecy? What Just Happened In The US Scares All Christians

In the early months of 2025, something unprecedented began to unfold. Around the globe, dense, eerie fogs started enveloping cities and towns, leaving communities baffled and uneasy. This wasn’t just any fog—it carried a sticky residue and emitted a sharp, chemical-like odor. Reports of sore throats, dizziness, and nausea among those exposed added to the growing alarm. What was happening? Could this be a natural phenomenon, or was something deeper at play?
From the United States to the United Kingdom, reports of this mysterious fog surfaced almost simultaneously. Eyewitness accounts described the haze as unlike anything they had ever seen—thick, persistent, and accompanied by an unsettling atmosphere. Online forums and social media platforms buzzed with speculation, yet mainstream media remained conspicuously silent, heightening public suspicion.
The fog wasn’t the only anomaly. Around the same time, bizarre weather events gripped the globe. Deserts saw unprecedented snowfall, massive storms swept through unexpected regions, and solar activity surged. In tandem, strange animal behavior was reported: birds flying erratically, fish washing ashore in droves, and even pets acting unusually agitated. It felt as though the natural world was sounding an alarm, and many wondered what it was trying to communicate.
For many, these events evoked echoes of ancient prophecies. The Bible speaks of signs in the heavens and on Earth, warning of the end times. Luke 21:25 mentions “distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring.” Could these phenomena—unprecedented weather, unexplained fog, and global unrest—be the fulfillment of these warnings? Were we witnessing the prophesied “birth pains,” increasing in frequency and intensity?
The mysterious fog was particularly troubling. In some circles, it was linked to theories of chemical or biological experiments gone awry. Others speculated it was part of a larger, more sinister agenda—perhaps environmental manipulation or even population control. These theories, though alarming, reflected a deep unease and a hunger for answers.
Signs in the Sky: What Lies Above?
Adding to the sense of foreboding were numerous reports of unexplained aerial phenomena. Strange lights darting across the night sky, triangular objects hovering silently, and glowing orbs behaving in ways that defied known physics. These sightings weren’t confined to conspiracy theories—they were documented by military personnel, pilots, and even government agencies.
The Bible’s reference to “signs in the sun, moon, and stars” in Luke 21 seemed to align eerily with these events. Were these heavenly displays a warning? A reminder of humanity’s fragility? Or something entirely beyond our comprehension?
The fog and skyward mysteries unfolded against a backdrop of global chaos. Natural disasters reached unprecedented scales. Wildfires devastated neighborhoods, floods swept away entire towns, and storms grew fiercer and more frequent. Wars raged across continents, displacing millions and threatening fragile geopolitical balances. Economies teetered, and political divides deepened.
Meanwhile, a moral and spiritual decline took hold. Violence and corruption became normalized, and faith communities dwindled in numbers. Many pointed to 2 Timothy 3:1-5, which describes a time when people would become “lovers of themselves, lovers of money, proud, abusive, disobedient, ungrateful, and unholy.” For those who believed, these trends were impossible to ignore—they felt like warnings etched in the fabric of modern society.
Amidst the chaos, a growing number of people began asking deeper questions. Were these events random or part of a larger narrative? Was the fog merely a physical phenomenon, or did it symbolize humanity’s inability to see clearly in times of turmoil? Was the rising frequency of disasters a natural consequence of environmental degradation, or were they wake-up calls urging humanity to change course?
For Christians, these events carried a dual significance. They were reminders of the promises of Scripture—that while the world might tremble, faith in God provided an unshakable foundation. They were also calls to action, urging believers to prepare spiritually, deepen their trust in God, and share the message of hope and salvation with others.
In times of uncertainty, prayer becomes a refuge. “Lord,” believers prayed, “open our eyes to see the truth amid the fog. Strengthen our faith as we navigate these turbulent times. Protect us and guide us, that we may discern your will and shine your light in a darkened world.” This prayer echoed in hearts worldwide, a reminder that even in chaos, there was hope.
The Road Ahead
The dense fog, the storms, the unrest—all served as reminders of humanity’s vulnerability and the need for humility. They also underscored the urgency of living with intention, aligning actions with values, and seeking truth amid confusion.
Whether these events signaled the fulfillment of ancient prophecies or were simply a convergence of natural and human-made crises, one thing was clear: they were an invitation to wake up, reflect, and act. To be stewards of the Earth, compassionate neighbors, and people of faith, courage, and integrity.
The signs of the times are unmistakable, but they are not a cause for fear—they are a call to hope, purpose, and preparation. For as the world around us shifts and trembles, faith reminds us that the greatest truths endure: love, justice, and the promise of redemption.
Sᴇᴇ Mᴏʀᴇ: Are the LA Wildfires God’s Judgment?
Share
Since the devastating wildfires broke out in Los Angeles last Tuesday, I’ve seen many people asking if—or outright stating that—these fires are a judgment from God on Hollywood or woke California. Are they?
Well, my good friend Ray Comfort from the evangelism ministry Living Waters responded to the fires with a video, and I encourage you to watch it. I trust it will challenge each one of us.
Please be praying for the situation in LA and the hundreds of thousands of people who are suffering. If you’d like to support a Christian ministry providing relief in LA, I encourage you to support our friends at Children’s Hunger Fund. Their buildings were spared (praise the Lord) although the fires came very close, and they are ready to minister to their local community in Christ’s name. You can give on their website.
