The Athletic credits the firing to “financial decisions” and effectively ends Griffin’s tenure at the network since 2021.However, it seems that Griffin and his wife, Grete Griffin, are looking at the situation positively. RGlll went to X to post a clip of the movie “Friday” with the quote, “How you gonna get fired on your day off?” Grete then replied to the post, “Onto bigger and better things.”

Despite the negative situation, it’s clear that the Griffin family is not worried about the future, and neither are fans of the couple.
