La cantante estadounidense Billie Eilish llamó “cobarde” al señor Elon Musk, diciendo que debería usar sus recursos para ayudar a las víctimas del hambre y resolver problemas internacionales.

On November 13, the 24-year-old singer drew attention on her Instagram story by posting a series of articles from the European feminist organization My Voice, My Choice about Elon Musk. The article claimed that the entrepreneur had become the world’s first trillionaire  and  suggested five ways he could help people with his personal fortune.

Billie Eilish shared three proposals presented by the feminist organization: Elon Musk could invest $40 billion annually to eradicate world hunger by 2030, between $1 and $2 billion annually for the conservation of endangered species, and tens of billions of dollars for the reconstruction of war-torn areas. In the last slide, the artist described him as “a pathetic coward,” but did not explain the reason for her criticism.

The artist published the article in the context of Elon Musk’s net worth being valued at $466.6 billion, making him the richest person in the world. Therefore, My Voice, My Choice’s claim that he will become a trillionaire is inaccurate. However, Forbes believes the organization is likely referring to Musk’s $1 trillion compensation package, which Tesla shareholders recently approved. According to the news website, if the entrepreneur meets the company’s targets, he will have a net worth of $1 trillion within the next 10 years.

Elon Musk has not yet responded to Billie Eilish’s criticism.

This isn’t the first time Eilish has called on the super-rich to donate to charity. At the Innovation Awards on October 29, the singer urged billionaires to increase their donations. She stated that the world is going through a terrible and dark time, especially in the United States, and expressed her hope that those with the resources would use their money for good causes.

The artist delivered a speech before numerous wealthy guests, including billionaire Mark Zuckerberg and his wife, and director George Lucas, the second richest person in Hollywood with a fortune of $5.1 billion. According to People magazine, some attendees revealed that CEO Zuckerberg did not applaud her speech. During the event, the host announced that Billie Eilish had donated $11.5 million (302 billion VND) to initiatives focused on food justice, climate protection, and reducing carbon pollution.

Billie Eilish, born in 2001, is currently one of the most talented and famous Generation Z artists in the world. She won five Grammy Awards with her debut album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? (2019). She is also the youngest artist ever to win major American music awards, including the Oscar, the Grammy, and the Golden Globe. Some of her hits include “Birds of a Feather,” “Bad Guy,” and “What Was I Made For.”

Elon Musk, 54, was born and raised in Pretoria, South Africa. He is a key figure in the technology industry, the architect of the success of four multi-billion dollar companies: Tesla, PayPal, SolarCity, and SpaceX. He is currently one of the most influential people in the world. In 2016, he ranked 21st on Forbes’ list of the 100 most powerful people.

Musk has been married twice and has dated numerous Hollywood beauties, including actress Amber Heard, Talulah Riley (his second wife), and singer Grimes. He currently has 14 children, six of them with his first wife. In February, 26-year-old American writer Ashley St. Clair revealed her “secret to conceiving her children.”
