Red Jumpsuit Apparatus Frontman Bans Trump Supporters From All Future Shows: “Don’t Come. Ever.”

Ronnie Winter, lead singer of the alternative rock band The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, made headlines Saturday after issuing a bold ultimatum to supporters of President Donald Trump: they are permanently banned from his concerts.

In a passionate video posted to the band’s official Instagram page on June 14, 2025, Winter didn’t mince words. “If you voted for Donald Trump, do not come to my shows — forever, not just for these four years,” he declared, staring directly into the camera from the driver’s seat of his car, baseball cap and sunglasses on.

His message was especially pointed toward Christian Trump supporters. “If you’re Christian and you voted for Donald Trump, shame on you. You are not allowed to come to my shows. I don’t want you there. Don’t come to my shows,” Winter said, his tone unwavering.

He continued, “Do not come to my shows because you’re going to hear a lot of propaganda, and you’re going to hear the actual words of Jesus. You’re going to see a lot of acceptance from all areas of life and races, and you’re just going to see a lot of harmony, OK? That’s not what you’re about, OK? Don’t come. Refunds are available. Forever, don’t come. Goodbye.”

Winter even referenced the band’s biggest hit, the 2006 anthem “Face Down,” making it clear that Trump supporters are not welcome. “It’s awesome that you love ‘Face Down’; it’s not for you. It’s not your song, OK? It is not your song,” he insisted. The band’s last album was released in 2018.

Addressing critics who have attacked his progressive views in the past, Winter proudly embraced the “woke” label, arguing that those who are “awake” have been proven right about the country’s direction under Trump. “Look man, the thing about being woke is you’re awake, and once you’re awake you can never go to sleep,” he said. “Not only has nothing changed, but everything they said was going to happen – the woke people – has happened. You have done nothing but prove them right.”

Winter joins a growing chorus of musicians speaking out against Trump’s second term. Rock legend Bruce Springsteen has made anti-Trump commentary a staple of his current world tour, telling audiences, “In my home, the America I love, the America I’ve written about, that has been a beacon of hope and liberty for 250 years, is currently in the hands of a corrupt, incompetent and treasonous administration.”

Rage Against the Machine’s Tom Morello didn’t hold back either, exclaiming, “F— that guy,” at a recent festival. Meanwhile, longtime Trump critic Neil Young recently expressed concern on his website that he could be detained during his next U.S. tour.

Ronnie Winter’s message is clear: if you support Donald Trump, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus is not the band for you — and you’re not welcome at their shows, now or ever.
