Rappers Monaleo and Stunna 4 Vegas turned the ultimate pink fantasy into reality with their star-studded Texas wedding on Friday, Sept. 19, at Boxwood Manor near Houston, attended by 180 guests—and streamed live to over 100,000 viewers on TikTok.

Their love story started in 2021 at a recording studio. Stunna (Khalick Antonio Caldwell) recalls, “She was at the studio that I was at, and her manager brought her in to meet me. But we didn’t start dating right away. I DM’d her later, and that’s how it kicked off.” For Monaleo (Leondra Gay), Stunna’s thoughtfulness instantly set him apart. She remembers how he neatly set aside her shoes and glasses during her first visit, giving her a rare sense of safety. “I met him at a super vulnerable time in my life, and I appreciated the amount of protection he offered,” she says. “He made me feel safe, and that’s what bonded us.”

The couple shares a son, born in 2023, who turned 2 in May, and got engaged the same year. Despite typically keeping personal milestones private, livestreaming the wedding felt essential. “I’ve been sharing this process with my fan base,” Monaleo says. “It added excitement and let us celebrate Black love, Black unity, and our community.”

Monaleo worked closely with planner Thashā Uche of Huff & Puff Events to deliver a series of unforgettable events leading up to the big day: a bachelor and “bachLEOrette” party, a blushing bridal shower, a family game night, and a farewell “Caldwell Cookout.” The ceremony itself was packed with personal touches—a unity candle, a memory wall honoring deceased loved ones, and a comfort-food menu including Frito pie. Even the wedding cake was Texas-themed, made from melons by Cakes by Tammy Allen.

The color scheme? All pink, naturally. Monaleo’s wedding and reception gowns were by Oluwagbemisola Okunlola of Alonuko Bridal, while Stunna’s blush pink suit was by Well Groomed Man. “Pink represents new beginnings and prosperity,” Monaleo says. “For that energy to be exchanged among people who’ve overcome trauma, it felt liberating.”

The ceremony also delivered heart-melting moments. Stunna, already emotional before Monaleo’s entrance to Beyoncé’s “1+1,” fought back tears as he soaked in the moment. Monaleo shared a particularly moving walk with her father, Leno, who survived aggressive chemotherapy and triple bypass surgery last year. Stunna also reunited with his father and grandfather for the first time, adding another layer of poignancy to the day.

Music played a deeply personal role. Their first dance was Monaleo’s “Cosmic Love,” a song from her debut LP Where the Flowers Don’t Die written for Stunna. And in true couple fashion, they were strict about guests: last-minute plus-ones were denied. “We’re strict on who we want around,” Stunna says.

Looking ahead, the couple is planning a tropical honeymoon, Monaleo’s major-label debut album under Columbia Records, and hopes to expand their family. Stunna says, excitedly, “We want more kids,” with Monaleo giggling in agreement.

Beyond the glitz and glam, their wedding highlighted the deeper values that anchor their relationship: love, family, and community. “I miss being intertwined,” Monaleo reflects. “I miss growing up and everyone gathering at my grandma’s house… We show up for each other and put in effort to build a village. That’s what this next chapter looks like for us.”
