Elon Musk Slams DOJ Over Epstein Report: “No One Has Been Arrested—Again”

Tech billionaire Elon Musk has unleashed a scathing critique against the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) following a controversial memo that concluded there is “no credible evidence” of a so-called “client list” of high-profile individuals allegedly blackmailed by convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

The DOJ report, obtained by Axios, stated that after extensive investigation, authorities found no incriminating “client list” and no grounds to pursue legal action against any uncharged individuals. The memo also reaffirmed the official narrative that Epstein died by suicide in 2019 while awaiting trial for sex trafficking at the Metropolitan Correctional Center.

Musk, never one to mince words, took to X (formerly Twitter) to express his outrage. “What’s the time? Oh look, it’s no-one-has-been-arrested-o’clock again,” he posted, accompanied by a satirical image labeled “The Official Jeffrey Epstein Pedophile Arrest Counter.” Musk went further, reposting a meme featuring a clown and the phrase “there is no Epstein list,” punctuated with an angry emoji.

When a user called the DOJ memo a “farce,” Musk replied, “This is the final straw.” He even went so far as to suggest a bipartisan cover-up, writing, “Unless both sides were guilty,” in response to skepticism over the lack of public evidence.

Musk’s fiery remarks come just weeks after a public spat with former President Donald Trump, during which Musk claimed Trump was “in the Epstein files”—a comment he later deleted for being “too far.” Their feud escalated after Trump’s “Big, Beautiful Bill” passed in the Senate, prompting Musk to hint at launching a new political party.

Riding the wave of public frustration, Musk cited a July 4th poll showing that “by a factor of 2 to 1,” Americans want a new political party. “When it comes to bankrupting our country with waste & graft, we live in a one-party system, not a democracy. Today, the America Party is formed to give you back your freedom,” Musk declared.

Despite the DOJ’s insistence that there is no credible evidence of a blackmail list and that further disclosures are neither “appropriate nor warranted,” public skepticism remains high. For many, including Musk, the Epstein saga is far from over.
