Bad Bunny will headline the 2026 Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show at Levi’s Stadium in California.
The NFL made the announcement on Sunday during the playing of the Cowboys and Packers.
“What I’m feeling goes beyond myself,” Bad Bunny said in a statement, per Variety.
“It’s for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown… this is for my people, my culture, and our history.”
The singer, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasi, further added: “I’ve been thinking about it these days, and after discussing it with my team, I think I’ll do just one date in the United States.”
The Super Bowl is scheduled to take place at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, on February 8, 2026.
The three-time Grammy winner is now slated to have arguably the biggest moment of his career, and he has Jay-Z to thank for it.

Apple Music, the NFL, and Roc Nation announced that Bad Bunny will perform at the Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show at Levi’s Stadium.
This marks the first time that the Puerto Rican musician has performed on the Super Bowl stage.
Shawn “JAY-Z” Carter would speak out about the decision, saying, “What Benito has done and continues to do for Puerto Rico is truly inspiring. We are honored to have him on the world’s biggest stage,” per the NFL.
“Bad Bunny represents the global energy and cultural vibrancy that define today’s music scene. As one of the most influential and streamed artists in the world, his unique ability to bridge genres, languages, and audiences makes him an exciting and natural choice to take the Super Bowl halftime stage,” said Jon Barker, SVP of Global Event Production for the NFL. “We know his dynamic performances, creative vision, and deep connection with fans will deliver the kind of unforgettable experience we’ve come to expect from this iconic cultural moment.”
Last year, Kendrick Lamar was sensational on stage as he shined with singer SZA in New Orleans, setting the record for the most-watched Super Bowl halftime show with 133.5 million viewers.
His performance was so insane that he surpassed the audience for Michael Jackson’s 1993 show.
As a global superstar, Bad Bunny just might do even better.
